Sofia Zemser earns Magna Cum Laude degree from Tulane University

Sofia Zemser of Hewitt, a 2016 graduate of West Milford High School, graduated this May from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a bachelor of arts degree in English with a specialization in Early Modern Studies and a minor in Management.

Zemser graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 15 percent of her class with a cumulative GPA of 3.83.

She received the Stellar Tulane Academic Award and made the Dean’s List all eight semesters.

She worked as a dedicated elementary school reading tutor throughout her four years.

Zemser will attend Tulane’s Freeman School of Business in New Orleans in the fall to pursue a Masters Degree in Management. She plans to work in digital marketing.
