— Mrs. Carlsen’s fifth grade students at Ringwood Christian School are better equipped to fight negative peer pressure now that they've completed the DARE program and marked their achievement with a special graduation ceremony. Parents and friends joined to make this a memorable evening. Special recognition goes to the essay contest winners: Cayla Brodeur – first place, Jarrett Richman – second place and Sammi Kroeger – third place.

There was also a poster competition. Eden Egbert placed first, Ryley Tintle was second and Gia Maietta was third. Cole Foster received the award for outstanding class leadership.

The Ringwood Police Department works in cooperation with Ringwood Christian School to provide the fifth grade class with a DARE program each year. Officer Matthew Ferraro and Sergeant Henry Hill lead the DARE classes. Lieutenant Joseph Walker also joined the students to celebrate their graduation from DARE.
