Sussex County Community College lowers tuition for out-of-county students

— Sussex County Community College (SCCC) will lower its out-of-county tuition for New Jersey students for the fall 2013 semester from $254 per credit to $190 per credit. Pike, Monroe and Wayne counties in eastern Pennsylvania will also remain at $190 per credit. All other tuition will remain flat including in-county tuition at $127 per credit and other out-of-state tuition at $254 per credit.

“Maintaining tuition at affordable levels is part of our commitment to provide accessibility to degree and certificate programs for all students in our region," said SCCC’s Chief Financial Officer Frank Nocella when making the announcement. "It is also the result of adherence to sound financial discipline and the cooperation of our faculty and staff in helping to keep costs and expenses under control.”

Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Sussex County Community College offers 19 degree programs and 23 degree options leading to associate of arts, associate of fine arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees.

SCCC’s intercollegiate athletics program includes men’s and women’s baseball, basketball, soccer and softball.
