West Milford. West Milford Township High School announce the Class 2020 valedictorian and salutatorian.
West Milford Township High School is proud to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2020 graduating class.
Earning this honor is no easy feat for it takes years of dedicated hard work to be recognized as the strongest academic students of one’s graduating class. These outstanding and well-rounded students embody an impressive breadth of knowledge, an abundance of character and an admirable drive to excel.
They are the best of the best.
Salutatorian Sera Agostinelli
Sera Agostinelli earned a GPA of 4.58. She has challenged herself academically over the past four years, taking on AP and Honors courses in all of the core subjects, while expanding her horizons in Mechanical Drawing, Culinary and Computer Science courses.
Sera has played competitive soccer since she was eight years old and was a valued member of the high school team.
She will be attending Lehigh University in the fall, majoring in Mathematics, while considering minors in psychology and computer science.
Valedictorian Samantha Hazen
Samantha Hazen achieved an impressive 4.78 GPA over the past four years. Samantha earned superior grades in several AP and Honors courses while exploring Accounting, Robotics,and Computer Science.
She has been passionate about helping others, and has provided many, many hours of peer tutoring to share her love of learning with fellow students.
She has received a letter of commendation from National Merit and is a proud past participant in the Hugh O’Bryant Youth Leadership conference.
In the fall, she will attend Bryant University as a member of the honors program, majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, with a minor in Data Science.
