The shovels and rakes were at the ready on Saturday, May 7, when Sustainable West Milford's Community Garden opened up for its 10th season. The original location at Apple Acres had a ribbon cutting with Mayor Bettina Bieri. And the new location at Wallisch Homestead saw many volunteers gather to do the work of tending to the raised boxes for planting. Members of the community may rent a spot at the garden to grow their own fresh, organic produce.
