T.J. Maxx store opening Sept. 18

T.J. Maxx will open a new store in West Milford on Sept. 18. Local shoppers can celebrate the new store opening from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. that day.
Reusable bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers on Sept. 18.

Maxx, in a press release. “With thousands of new items from top designers and brands arriving in stores weekly from around the world, shoppers will discover a new store full of amazing values every time they visit.”
T.J. Maxx is one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers with more than 1,000 stores currently operating in 49 states and Puerto Rico, selling fashion and accessories to jewelry, home, beauty, pet products, toys and more.

Store facts and features

The West Milford T.J. Maxx store is located at 35 Marshall Hill Road, adjacent to ShopRite. It is 18,843 square feet in size.
In a press release, the company said the store has an easy to shop layout with bright and spacious dressing rooms. A single line queue provides faster checkout. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sundays the store is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Community support

In celebration of its new West Milford location, T.J. Maxx will present a $5,000 donation to Association for Special Children and Families at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 18 at 7:30 a.m. The new store will also join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring a child who participates in Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. T.J. Maxx also supports Save the Children, Autism Speaks and Joslin Diabetes Center with annual in-store fundraising campaigns.
