Vernon Twp. to repave Warwick Turnpike next week
West Milford. Mayor Michele Dale announced Wednesday that Vernon Township is planning to repave its section of the Warwick Turnpike next week.
Repaving of the Warwick Turnpike between the New York State line and West Milford Township is scheduled to begin next week, officials said.
West Milford Mayor Michele Dale announced the work on one of her Facebook pages Wednesday.
“After receiving many resident communications regarding the condition of the road in Upper Greenwood Lake (on the) Warwick Turnpike, and working with Vernon Township, I am happy to report the following: Upcoming Road Construction Alert: On or about Sept. 18-25, they will be repaving Warwick Turnpike.” Dale’s post said. “The repaving will be for the entire Vernon section of roadway, from the NY State line to the West Milford (Township). Road construction times are planned for 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The road will be open and there will be one lane alternating traffic each day. Please expect some delays.”
