West Milford announces ‘House Beautiful’ contest

The Beautification and Recycling Task Force Committee of West Milford recently announced the beginning of its “House Beautiful” contest, where area residents can sign up to nominate their neighbors, family members, and/or employers.

The Task Force will be judging contestants in late August. But there are a few rules you must follow before sending in a nomination. Properties that have had a professional landscaper working on them will not be allowed. When submitting your entry photo, you must include your name, address, and phone number, as well as the date (month and year). The photo must be signed and dated as well. The Task Force also ask that you be sure that the property can be well seen from the road. You must submit your entry to the West Milford Clerk’s Office (1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford).

Three awards will be given out.
