WEST MILFORD - Just because it’s getting brisk out there doesn’t mean you can’t continue to get your fresh produce, eggs, meats, honey, pickles cookies maple syrup, empanadas and other goodies from the West Milford Farmers’ Market. That’s because the market will continue once each month throughout the winter.
The first winter market is Wednesday, Nov. 15, just in time for your Thanksgiving needs.
After that, the market will be held on the second Wednesday of the month, December through April.
All of the summer market vendors are expected to attend, according to Triscia Hennessy, manager of the market, as long as they have products to bring. In addition, there may be a few new vendors in attendance.
The winter market will be held at the same place the summer market is held, the West Milford Presbyterian Church parking lot, from 2 to 5 p.m. Some vendors will be outside and others inside. The market will close at 4 p.m. depending on the light.
Stop by and visit your favorite farmers.
