Before schools shut down, kindergarten students of the Maple Road Youth Act Club spent Thursday afternoon, March 12, making "Thank you" survival snack kits for first responders of West Milford First Aid Squad. They drew and colored pictures on lunch bags and then fill them with a variety of snacks, to help them keep going. Then, they attached a note explaining why the first responders are appreciated. When they were done, they handed them to two volunteers of the West Milford First Aid Squad. At the end, they were kind enough to let the kids check out the ambulance.
