West Milford. School Board approves 2021-2022 Return to School Plan

West Milford Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alex Anemone issued the following statement Thursday morning:

Dear WMTPS Community,

At its June 22 meeting, the Board approved the submission of the 2021-2022 Return to School Plan.

Subsequent to that, Governor Murphy announced on June 28 that the decision to require masks will belong to each individual school district. I am writing this letter to notify the school community that masks will remaino ptional for the 2021-2022 school year.

Please note, the District will still maintain strict cleaning protocols but the decision to wear/not wear a mask will belong to each individual family.

The Return to School Plan will be amended and re-submitted to the New Jersey Department of Education.
