A message to West Milford High School Principal Matthew Strianse sent the following message to parents on Sept. 16:
When we reopen our hybrid schedule on October 1st, our students will continue to follow a regular, full-day, eight-period schedule as we have been since September 3rd.
Students scheduled to be in school will attend in-person classes on their assigned cohort days.
Those students scheduled to be home will also attend their regularly scheduled classes, virtually.
Students choosing the 100 percent virtual option will be attending their regularly scheduled classes virtually every day.
This differs from the original hybrid plan that was released over the summer.
Every Wednesday will now be an EARLY DISMISSAL for all students and will also be the alternating cohort day.
The weekly cohort schedule will be released in the Superintendents Reopening Plan which will be shared over the next couple of days.
