The West Milford Museum resulted from more than 20 years of collaborative effort between local volunteers, businesses and municipal government. Major renovations have been made to the building, a former M.E. church, c.1860.

The West Milford Museum contains records of the Township’s development over the past centuries.
The West Milford Heritage Committee is pleased to announce the re-opening of the West Milford Museum, located at 1477 Union Valley Road in West Milford on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. The museum has been closed for a few months due the current Corona-virus pandemic. The museum will adhere to the current State of New Jersey Corona-virus regulations and restrictions. Knowledgeable volunteers will be at the museum during these hours to assist attendees with questions.
Admission is free to all.
The museum will be open every Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m, weather permitting. The museum telephone number is 973-728-1823.
