The purpose of the West Milford High School Hall of Excellence is to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding individuals who graduated West Milford High School or who served the West Milford High School community, according to the district.
Many West Milford High School alumni have made a tremendous societal impact, and the successes of these alums are a source of school and community pride, the group's website said.
"In so recognizing these individuals, we seek to establish and strengthen the connection between those individuals and their families with West Milford High School," the organization said. "Current students will be more readily able to identify with appropriate role models associated with their school and community."
