The Woman’s Club of West Milford recently distributed annual donations to local emergency groups, high school students, food pantries and an animal rescue training program.
Donations were given to six fire departments, two ambulance companies, the American Legion, the Search & Rescue Team, the township library, the township museum, the township Special Olympics team and four local pantries.
The women also awarded scholarships to four high school students as well as paying for summer camp for four children.
In addition, the women are supporting the training of the club’s “adopted” seeing-eye dog, Issac, and donated to the local animal shelter.
The money came from the club’s annual “Victorian Christmas at Ringwood Manor” fundraiser.
