The West Milford Police Department is seeking the public's assistance for information regarding an 8-month-old puppy that was shot and killed at an address on Weaver Road. The puppy was shot on private property within a fenced area. The incident occurred over the weekend between Saturday July 16 and Monday morning July 18. It appears as though a small caliber weapon was used. The puppy was described by the owners as playful and friendly.
