The West Milford 9U Bears win the Continental Northwest Championship.
The West Milford 11U Bears win the Continental Northwest Championship.
West Milford’s 9U, 11U and 14U baseball teams each took home trophies for the United States Amateur Baseball League (USABL) championship in their divisions.
The Highlanders finished with a 9-2-1 record, scoring more than 50 runs in their last four games.
The team won the 14U Continental North Division Championship.
The 9U Bears were seeded fourth going into the playoffs. They beat the first- and second-seeded teams and won the Continental Northwest Championship.
The 11U Bears also won the Continental Northwest Championship with an 11-1 victory in the final game.
The team had an overall record of 8-3.
