Tanner Christie named West Milford’s Athlete of the Week, June 6-11
The recognition was given for his placements in the track and field State Group Championship meet.

West Milford High School senior Tanner Christie, a boy’s track and field star for the school, qualified for the State Group Championship meet in three different events: javelin, discus and shot put. At the state group meet, Christie placed in all of his events. He was fifth in shot put, throwing 48’6”, tenth in javelin, throwing 143’2”, and eleventh in discus, throwing 128’8”.
