West Milford — West Milford Girls Softball Xtreme 12U Team won the Championship at the Rich Atalese Memorial Tournament in Long Valley, N.J. with an 8-0 shutout vs. the Lenape Blazers for the win on June 3.
Pitcher Krista Keller surrendered zero runs on one hit over six innings, striking out 12. WM Xtreme racked up seven hits, led by Keller and Mia with 2 hits each.
The WM Xtreme 12U team was on fire with fantastic plays in the field, strong hits, successful base stealing, and seamless teamwork throughout the three-day tournament — with each player doing their part to secure their top spot in the Championship game.
