WMHS Bowlers take 4-6 in two matches before holiday break

WEST MILFORD - The West Milford High School bowling team posterd a mixed week before the holiday break, losing a tough match, and then winning big.
The team had its third match on Tuesday, Dec. 18, against Wayne Hills.
Although the team bowled very well and all team members bowled 600 series, they only walked away with one win and total wood.
Colin Goldberg, a freshman, rolled a 231, 166, and a 214.
Mikey Nicholas (junior) bowled a 204, 226, and a 197; Ty Nicol (senior) shot a 240, 178, and a 192; and anchor, RJ Utter, bowled a 257, 202, and a 207 for a high series of 666.
The next match, the following day at the Holiday Bowl in Oakland, took all three games and wood from Lakeland High School.
Varisty bowlers for West Milford were Amanda Finke, Mikey Nicholas, RJ Utter, Tyler Nicol, and Shane Yodice.
Nicholas scored high game with a 257, while RJ Utter had high series of 650 in that match.
