Check back next week for the next Take Five Name: Amanda Miller Age: 17 School affiliation: West Milford Sport/Activity (ies): Gymnastics 1) How did you get involved in gymnastics? Sophomore year I thought it looked like fun so I decided to join the team in september. 2) Tell me about this season. The season was great, and the seniors made a big impact on it. We had alot of fun during practice but when it came to meets we always put everything together and did a great job. 3) What is your favorite movie? Remember the Titans 4) Who is your biggest inspiration? My biggest inspiration in gymnastics is Alyssa Haitmanek (shown here on the right) and Coach R. They helped me and taught me so many new things throughout the season. 5) What is your favorite food? Steak Bonus Five 1) Do you have any pregame rituals or warm-ups? No 2) Tell me about the day you were named captain? I was very suprised and excited, i never thought id be named captain for gymnastics. 3) Describe your support system? My support system includes my parents, friends, and my coach. they supported me so much during the season and got me where i am today. 4) What does being a highlander mean to you? Being a highlander means alot to me because I get to represent my school. 5) What is the most rewarding part of being part of a team?
