    7/28/05 n Criminal Mischief n Paradise Knoll School Unknown actor threw a stick through a window between 8 and 10 a.m. on the above date. P.O. David VanDalinda 7/27/05 n Theft n Marshall Hill Road Motorcycle stolen from rear of business at above location. Motorcycle is a 2000 Honda XR50 red in color. Value $1200. P.O. Joseph Nevin 7/27/05 n Burglary/Theft n Center Street Unknown actor entered unsecured home and removed cash ($25.00) and jewelry boxes containing jewelry valued at $1000. Under investigation Det. Tyrus Hicks 7/27/05 n Criminal Mischief n Laramie Trail On above date mailbox was knocked down and door broken off. P.O. Greg Post, Jr. 7/26/05 n Burglary n Route 23 N Unknown actors attempted to gain access to the building at above location. Entry was attempted on both front doors of the building. P.O. George Richnavsky 7/26/05 n DWI/Refusal n Warwick Turnpike/Lakeshore Drive Peter J. Cooney, Warwick, NY, Age 47 While on routine patrol officer was traveling behind the suspect vehicle, which had non-working rear lamps. Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop in front of Utopia Deli on Warwick Turnpike. Upon approaching the driver officer detected an odor of alcoholic beverage. Driver arrested for same. P.O. Frank Elia 7/25/05 n Criminal Mischief n Hearthstone Drive Unknown actors damaged mailbox with a blunt object between the hours of 1800 on 7/23 and 1730 on 7/25. P.O. Jason Lowenfeld 7/25/05 n Criminal Mischief n High Crest Lake Between July 23 and the evening hours of July 24, unknown actors damaged High Crest Beach by defecating on the lifeguard chair, broke two geese fences. Wires to both fences were cut and approximate value of damage is $150. P.O. Jason Lowenfeld 7/25/05 n MVA n Route 23 South #1 n Melissa Garrabrant, Stockholm, Age 25 #2 n Joseph Glarizio, Vernon, Age 35 D1 stated she was slowing down in traffic when V2 struck her in the rear. D2 stated V1 slowed down so he slowed down but was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting V1. P.O. Casey Casbarro 8/1/05 - Criminal Mischief n Allendale Drive Vehicle parked at above locating as covered with what appeared to be strawberry milk shake. Mailbox was also damaged. P.O. Frank Elia 7/31/05 n Criminal Mischief n Belford Drive Mailbox smashed by unknown means. Appeared to have been done by a heavy object. P.O. Frank Elia 7/31/05 n DWI n Macopin Road Andrew Diner, Totowa, Age 20 Speeding vehicle leads to an underage DWI arrest. Officer running stationary radar on Macopin Road observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Driver was later identified as above. Driver arrested for Underage DWI. P.O. James DeVore 7/29/05 n Criminal Mischief n Highlander Drive Juveniles (age approx. 15) lit off fireworks in the hallway upon dismissal of last day of school. P.O. George Richnavsky 7/30/05 n Fire n High Crest Drive Report of a mattress fire. Upon police arrival the homeowner and grandson were out of the dwelling. The fire apparently began when an electric fan in the upstairs bedroom located next to the bed caught on fire. Prior to police arrival, the victim had extinguished the flames with buckets of water. Large amount of smoke still came from the room. West Milford Fire Dept. #1, 4 and 2 responded and took control of the scene. P.O. Gary Yarnall 7/30/05 n Criminal Mischief n Ridge Road Unknown actor broke window at the West Milford Public Library on above date. P.O. William Pittelko 7/30/05 n Burglary/Theft n Louis Ave. Unknown actor entered house by removing screen from window and AC vent damage. Parts found on ground. Approximately $1600 in cash taken. P.O.
