Republicans Michael Chazukow and David Marsden announce for West Milford Council
Dear Editor,
The 2020 primary election is scheduled for July 7th. As part of the pandemic response, voting by mail ballot was expanded to all registered and active voters. West Milford residents should already have received this ballot and local Republicans will notice the names of two new people seeking to represent them.
I’m excited to introduce myself, Michael Chazukow, and my running mate David Marsden, as this year’s Republican candidates for West Milford Township Council.
My family has lived in West Milford for five generations. I graduated WMTHS in 1996 and received my BA in Law & Society Summa cum Laude in 2010 from Ramapo College. I’ve been active in New Jersey politics for over a decade and in West Milford politics for over five years.
I am Secretary of the West Milford Economic Development Commission where I have served for four years and I joined the Planning Board this year.
Most recently, I’ve acted as a community advocate and liaison for WM residents protecting old growth forests and served on Mayor Dale’s reelection campaign, which is where I met my running mate, David Marsden.
David Marsden is a five-year resident of West Milford having moved here after living in Kinnelon for 40 years. He is a Medical Physicist at Hackensack Meridian Health JKF Medical Center. David received his master’s degree from Rutgers University and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiology Physics.
David Marsden also volunteers on the West Milford Economic Development Commission, serves as Secretary of the WM Insurance Committee, and is the District 3 representative to the Republican County Committee.
We look forward to working with Mayor Dale and the town council to provide the best stewardship of town resources.
