West Milford Animal Control Officer Lindsay Persico rescued this injured hawk found on Rockburn Pass in West Milford. The hawk, affectionately now known as “Rocky,” was taken to a veterinarian in Franklin Lakes, then will recuperate at the Raptor Trust Sanctuary near the Great Swamp National Wildlife in Long Hill Township in Morris County.
